Everyday when I am settling down for the night I am always asking myself the same question, "Where did the day go". Especially while I am here at school, there is always so much to get done in the day I never feel like I have enough time to complete everything. However, this semester I made it a goal that I would get all my schoolwork done and try my hardest to keep my grades where I want them to be. I am very proud to say that I have done that exact thing, so far. Although it is not easy, and at times not ideal, I get all my homework done and I feel so much better about myself.
This is my 5th semester in a row (Fall, Winter, Spring, Fall, Winter) and I am very burnt out. I was going to apply for Fast Grad, a program they offer here at BYU--Idaho that allows you to be on track for three semesters a year instead of two. But I have changed my mind, I have decided to go home for the Spring semester to have a nice break and have a chance to work and save up money. I am very excited to have the chance to spend time with my family, I miss them very much and this will be a good chance to catch up with them and spend an extended period time with them. I am also excited to spend my summer in Southern California. Being here in Rexburg is not a bad thing but it makes me miss San Diego very much.
Going back to time, this time with my family is going to be very precious because I do not know when I will have an opportunity like this again. I do not know where my life is going to take me after this summer so I need to make the most out of this time I will have with the people I love.

Nose Bleed
All growing up I would see my siblings getting bloody noses, but I never once got one. Well.. I can no longer say I have never had a nose bleed. Today I experience my first nose bleed, it was not anything messy or tragic, but it was weird. It is so dry here in Idaho, I am actually surprised it took this long to happen.

Winter 2012
Well, two weeks into a new semester and things are going great! I feel like this semester is going to be one of my best. I like all my classes and all my professors, and I actually have an urge to do all my homework which is such a nice feeling! I am going to be keeping busy though that is for sure. I am taking 17 credits and I got a calling in my ward to be the 1st councilor in my Relief Society. I am so excited for this calling though, I know that it will push me to new limits but it will also help me grow as a person.
Today we had a day off school which is so nice because everyone needs a break every once in a while. Me, my roommate, her fiance, and his roommate went to Jackson, Wyoming. It is such a cute little town, there were fun little shops that we went into and the we went to this burger place, Billie's Burger, and I had such a great hamburger! It was so delicious.
There is something that is so surprising to me though... it is halfway through January and there is no snow on the ground! It is so crazy! Snow is scheduled for this week but hey, I have loved that there is no snow on the ground. Snow is not my favorite, it is pretty to look at. But it gets you all cold and wet. It can not be fun, especially when you are walking to class. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that it does not snow anytime soon.
